internships let you take your classroom knowledge and apply it to the workforce. as a cooperative learning experience, internships and practicums can be applied for classroom credits toward graduation. when you do an internship for credit, the career center will enroll you in the cooperative education program, converting your internship to a "co-op" for 1-8 credits in your major.
